Hi, my husband and I have been rescuing huskies from bad homes and neglect and have stopped a few from going to the pound. We take them in and clean them up, bathe them, brush them, fix their coats, rid them of fleas, ticks, and worms etc. We have even fattened some up with high calorie supplements and fattening foods like ground beef. We took one to the vet for tests and xrays and vitamins and nutrients, etc and spent well over $500 when it was over! I just figured I would post this to let everyone out there know that we will gladly take in any huskies that need new homes. All of our dogs are inside dogs and get plenty of love and attention from us and my children. they taken care of very well. I know there are a lot of military out there that have to leave on such short notice and end up dropping their dogs off at the shelter or with bad homes, and we would like to prevent this. We do not want to see any dog end up at the pound as no dogs deserve that but at this time we are taking in huskies as we have fallen in love with the breed. We may expand soon and take in shepherds or malamutes or akitas so if you have one that needs a new home please let me know, and only purebreds at this time please. I have also seen ads on here where people have found huskies and then dropped them off to the pound. We will gladly take them as well and try to find their owner and if not possible, then give it a loving home. Please let us take care of them instead of dropping them off to the pound or a bad home. I promise they will be taken care of and well loved and I have plenty of pictures of previous and present huskies if you would like to see them all. Thanks so much
