Black Labrador Retriever - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Max
Description
Max is a nueterd lab mix with a corkscrew tail like a pug.. He is very shy around people and is labeled a "fearful" dog. He will need lots of patience and can not be forced to do anything. He needs someone who will let him learn to trust them in his own time. After 6 months he is now coming up behind me and licking my hand then backs off. Max will retrieve a ball but drops it and backs off for you to pick up. He will let you know if anything is amiss. He will need a fenced yard with a dog house but loves it under the porch best. He is on HEARTGUARD & ADVANTIX the first of each month for heartworm ,flea, and tick prevention. Max has been on a leash and did fairly well on it. Still needs lots of work. Max gets along with other dogs well once he gets to know them and loves to run and play.
